Default Where can I go to shoot

I am new to the sport and am struggling to find outdoor rifle ranges that are accepting new members in the greater Edmonton area.
Can anyone suggest one, or know of crown land near by where I can put up targets to practice?
John

Never heard of a cement bench, where is it?

Check out this link, you can search around Edmonton for a crown land or preserv that allows hunting.

if you are willing to do the drive out there the wabuman gun club should still be accepting people, you can search them up on the internet. or every second monday of the month there is a meeting at the senior center in stony plain i believe that memberships start going on sale at six thirtypm. to become a member you must first become a member of the stony plain fish and game association at a cost of 35 bucks and then you will be able to purchase the gunclub membership. its a nice range but no scatterguns i believe.

JohnnyG - Don't think there are any "clubs" taking new members within easy driving distance east of Edm. To the south-east, check Camrose. To the south-west, check CHAS. Good luck.
