Firearms will now be in the hands of criminals!

Is it just me, or is anybody out there concerned that, many of these band firearms are gona end up in the hands of dangerous criminals, due to the fact that they are unregistered, and can be sold threw a black market for several times more then what they paid, could one say that this may creating more of a problem? I’m interested to see if gun violence actually escalates!!

I think the government just created a black market, some of the guys I met threw my range I guarantee would sell on the NEW government created black market!

Hopefully few will take advantage of black market. If these types of guns get involved in crimes it's just going to prove to the anti's that we shouldn't have had them in the first place.

In reality, gang bangers and most other criminals want hand guns. AR 15's, mini 14's etc are way to hard to conceal walking into a bar, night club or restaurant. This whole thing is just more political baffelgab from the turd. Does nothing to address crime or the tragedy in Nova Scotia. Sounds great to all the yuppies in the 901 , GTA and lower mainland. Gets a whole bunch of political mileage and votes though! The worst part of it is the method by which it was enacted. No parliamentary debate discussion or approval. Can you say dictator? I don't think things will change that much with the criminal element as far as them getting their hands on more guns, they have always had their share of weapons most of which were not obtained by legal methods.

This is certainly not going to decrease the flow of illegal arms into Canada from the US, if anything it will increase it, nor will it have any effect on those gangs that live on reserves as they have a different set of rules as we all know, and as above most guns were obtained illegally anyway.

The part that really bothers me is that the democratic process was abandoned by the liberals making Canada one step closer to a communist police state with a dictatorship and a moron at the helm
