Where do you guys usually buy your engine parts from in Calgary ?

I called one place this AM, and got the grumpiest man in the world. So grumpy I felt bad for interrupting his day to order some parts.

Auto Marine is a Yamaha dealer, BUT they have serviced my old Merc. and Evinrude. They will go out of their way to help, talk with Sue if she's in.

Try the guys down at Alta Marine in Nanton. Bit of a drive but nicer folks and carry some stock too.

Funny how every time a post about Calgary boat parts or service comes up and bad service or grumpy staff comes up it is always them. Even when not mentioned.

Yet every time I go there I get great friendly service, I think they are very nice people.

I have had good parts service there myself. I have had friends tell me horror service stories.

Well , I went into town to pick up my parts today. A very nice lady greeted me and finished the sale. The parts were late by a few days after promised but so be it.

I didnt see anyone else around, so maybe the grumpy man was out to lunch, or back under his bridge ...
