Nothing for me.
Was completely expecting my cow elk with the priority I have. 100% of applicants with my priority got it last year in that wmu, thought I had it this year for sure.

Im starting to think Im going to need a new gun. Didn't get awarded for anything except BISON! Anyone know if a 270 Winchester will do the job? I usually load it up with the 130 grain Nosler Partitions

Its all about bullet placement, and maybe step up to a 150 grain.

Same here, both draws that I was awarded were expected, because I waited my turn using 999 until I was ready to draw.

Oh man, now I can't even get in to the site. Even after it was my turn in the queue it still won't load. It tries to but fails.

I guess I'll have to wait a bit longer to get into the site to see my draw results.

And a really stout bullet. Partition or something. Leave the ballistic tips at home!

Default Partner licence question

Cross posting this but put my wife on as a partner for bull elk. I was drawn but both of our priority points went to zero. Was under the assumption that if I was drawn she could hunt with me but not lose her priority points. Am I wrong here

You both got drawn....you can't "partner" an elk tag unless it's a youth.

You each have a tag. You entered together to save $3.50, if one gets drawn All are drawn.

You put her in the draw with you and you both got drawn sounds like. Don't think you can do partner licence on elk unless she was a youth.

You can't partner on draw applications, you can group meaning if one person gets drawn you both do.

Partners are designated after draws are awarded and for non youth hunters you can only partner moose and bison

Default Group

First time putting her on as a group. So does that mean we are both drawn if hers shows drawn as well. And we both have tags ? Think I should not have added her in the group oh well lesson learned.

Apparently you don't understand what a partner license is. Only a youth can get a partner license for elk, and they are designated after the draw.

Using the priority of the lowest priority person I believe. It doesn't help you to have one member with a 10 if everyone else is a 2. You are all 2's.
