Default Red deer river from red deer to drumheller

How shallow is it? I am thinking of floating it in my 11 foot zodiac type boat.

I floated from some campground to Mckenzie crossing last weekend. You just floating? Prop motor? Jet? I wouldn't use a prop.

Anyways.... we were always jumping in and swimming. Ranged from thighs to just over your head. Average depth in middle of river was probably between belly button and chest on that part of the river.

I do have a 15hp for it, you can tilt it half way or have it right out. I was thinking of just leisurely floating. But bring the motor just in case. I have heard the river is shallow, but I dont know what that means. If there's lots of sections around a foot deep, I don't want the extra wieght.
