Default 270's and Hybrid 100 powder

Just wondering if anyone has tried Hybrid 100 powder with their 270's. I am interested to try it but would like to know a bit about it. I use 130 grain bullets so if anyone has some knowledge about this mix, please tell me.

Haven't seen it yet. All I use is IMR 4350 for the .270.

H 4831 here. Let's hear about Hybrid 100 and give me a reason to change.

I heard about this powder just recently too. I want to try it in my 300 Wby. I hear it is comparable to MRP and in the same burn rate area as 4350, 4831 but has less powder space used in the case. If you have a load that is compressed and figure you could get more speed if you had the room, for whatever reason, then this powder is worth looking into. Should work for barnes bullets in short magazine guns, where you have to seat deep. I think its worth looking into.

I guess I will be the ginea pig being as I am the one who wants to know. I found it in Russell's and Wholesale Sports cataloge. Looking at the Hornady ballistics, I don't see why it shouldn't work.

You can buy it at Wholesale in Edmonton. I plan on using it in my 25-06.

Default Hybrid 100

Just bought 4lbs from Higginsons, but haven't loaded anything with it, the first Idea was to try it in the new Steyr in 6.5x55. FS
