Default newest addition to the harem

This is my new girl. Taking her for a bison hunt in 09. Uberti 1885 hi-wall in 45-70. 32" barrel and beautiful wood and metal. Hoping to mount the scope in the last pic on her. I really want to build a blackpowder cartridge for her so any help in that would be much appreciated!

what does hi-wall mean i hear this term alot ?

Nice gun! You certainly can do the black powder thing or try Western Powders' new Blackhorn 209 black powder substitute. Current issue of Handloader has a write up on this Canadian made powder. I'll be trying it in my BPCR leverguns after hunting season is over.
