Default Left-itis

When I'm shooting my shotgun can someone explain to me why my patterns are favouring the left side of the paper? Am I coming too far over the comb? I thought the vent rib was supposed to help prevent that sort of thing.

Are you left or right handed?
If left handed you may be jerking the trigger thus pulling things to the left.
If your a righthander, you may be over compensating for the recoil and lunging, therefore the shots go left. (kinastasia)
Or.
It could be the shotgun just shoots to the left of point of aim.
