Default 30-06 bullets

I’m shoot a Browning BLR 30-06 and I’m looking for a source to help pick the best bullet and weight as well as design, Interbond, SST, SP, BTSP M1 Garand these are Hornady bullets but I have no idea of the advantages or disadvantages of their design. I used SST 180 grain this year and I got a Moose and a White-tail Buck. Any help is appreciated.

Charles

Moose, Deer and Elk are the game of choice for me.

First off shoot what shoots best in your rifle.
Also
You list a pretty broad range of application.
You would also serve yourself well to explain the style of hunting you use, since expected shot ranges will influence bullet choice.

For the differences between bullet types try going to the manufatureers websites, then do some search on the specific bullet types, on forums like this.

There is no quick dirty answer to your dilema, you may have to determine the best for your rifle load by trying numerous brands and evaluating their accuracy potential.

Short of varmint bullets, the above should be your number 1 concern, all the construction differences should be number 2 in consideration.

Afterall you have to hit at what your shooting at.

Good luck
