Anyone make their own rifle slings?

Just wondering if anyone makes their own slings, I am looking into different options. looking at getting some ideas and poke some experienced Brains.

had a hutterite buddy make one for me a few years ago from leather. he dyed it black and stamped my name in it. cost about the same as out of the store...

After making a few call lanyards I decided to try the gun sling. It took a few tries to get the knots down right, but it turned out so good I made two, plus slings for my bipod and a coyote carrier.

Stormdrane has lots of projects and ideas and the paracord is very versitile, strong and many colors/patterns are able to be concocted.
