Default Voere Cougar

Anybody familiar with the Voere Cougar? I have one, and I'd like to know more about it's rep etc. Basically, the best fitting rifle I've ever had, but nowhere near the most accurate. Haven't been able to play with scope, or ammo, so I probably have a good chance of making the rifle work, but... I know nothing about it really as of now...

Thanks

I used my dads Voere Cougar for years. It served the purpose but I found accuracy deminished after the 2nd shot. Barrell warping from the heat is all I could figure was the problem. I put it away for good after it shot by itself at the range a couple times. When I slid the safety off to get ready to fire it went off like this on two occasions. So I retired it.

Sorry for the hi-jack........Are there any Voere experts on the site. I have an old rifle handed down to me from my grandfather that I know nothing about. If I post a picture anybody think they could identify the model?

Hmm. I did notice this, but plan on putting on a different scope and checking. Not sure if it is hot barrel or if it is scope issues. I'll do some figuring out. Hate to give up on such a good fitting rifle though...
