Both are probably pretty good bangs for your buck.
I am a Bushnell 4200 fan and own a few of them. I have never had a problem with them so I can't complain. As a biased opinion I would take the Bushnell over the Nikon.
The 2.5x-10x is a great choice. You can dial it right down for those tight conditions in the bush or bring it up to 10 power for those wide open prairie shots.

Both the scopes you mention are excellent glass. More info on hunting style, cartridge, and rifle would help. My personal favorite is a Leupold VXIII 2.5-8.
Good luck.

Nikon or Leupold, you couldn't give me a scope or anything with Bushnell on it....their service is pathetic.

I would agree with that,
in my books to Bushnell is not in the same league as Leupold, Zeiss, Nikon.

Just be aware that it is illegal to ship a riflescope without an IIC and papers from the US Dept of Commerce. You may lose your scope at the border, if caught.

Good but Cheap scopes
I have to save the money on a scope so I can buy the gun. Could someone help me find a good place to buy a good and cheap scope?

I have only sent one old scope back to bushnell and they sent me a new one..Great service..
I would buy the 4200 or the 6500 over all the rest for the money..leupold makes great scopes but for the money you get way more bang for the buck out of Bushnell..Look at a 6500 and a Leupold VX-7...the bushnell is $799 and the Leupold is $1899...The Bushnell has more light transmition[ and the two scopes have the same options only one is $1100 less..Just cause you are paying more do's not mean your getting a way better scope..I have a number of Bush&Luppy scopes and i will take the 4200 and 6500 over any scope out in gun land..

Save yourself a bundle and take a serious look at a Mueller 3-10X44 Tac II. They're only available in Canada from Phil at www.whitefalls.ca. Great scope, mil dot reticle. Leupolds and Burris's are pretty decent, but prices are a little crazy. If $$ aren't a consideration, for the same rough price as a 6500 or a decent Leupy you can pick up a 3.5-10X44 Zeiss Conquest and I can tell you from using it, it beats my 4200 Elite all to heck, especially if there's a possibility of sun glare.....but check out a Mueller - you won't regret it. Another great option, better than just about anything American made is a Meopta Meostar. Beautiful glass, but tricky to find in Canada.

I ordered a 4200 3-9X40 from SIR/cabelas for $319. I think you can get a 3200 for $239. Not to take away from the other scopes, but I have a hard time believing you can get much better bang for your buck than that.

no problem. I think I ordered mine monday and had it by friday. FWIW, the 3200 will hold zero very good. My buddy has one on a 300 RUM and it works very well.
