Default Bowning x-bolt

Looked at one of these today in WSS in Lethbridge composite model blued , very nice looking rifle, nice holding reasonably light, composite clip like the t3 except it is a rotary mag. was chambered in 270wsm. came very close to bringing it home. $769.00 not bad.

Nice rifle aren't they? I have looked at the Hunter, Medallion, and Composite Stalker, but still waiting to have a look at the Stainless Stalker. I avoided buying one yet, stuck to the A-Bolt for my last 2 just because I really have been happy with them, and they are starting to get hard to find! However, next one will likely be the X-Bolt Hunter.

Default x-bolt

While in the store I also handled the Browning Ti if it would have been in 270wsm it would have had a new home.

If they are half as good as the A-bolts they will be a great rifle. I have a Browning A-bolt Medallion II and love it.

Picked up an Outdoor Life Mag a month or so ago. They loved this rifle.

"TESTER'S COMMENTS Nice trigger helped account for the great groups-A sensible sporter that's well priced-Shot well;functions well-Wow! Accurate rifle-Not your father's A bolt-Would love to take this rifle hunting"

They ranked it 2008 Great Buy

Just in case if any one decided to buy one MAKE SURE that they (seller) is mounting the scope on it too. What I have seen and heard that putting a X-bolt rings on them is too much trouble. I was in WSS sports when the guy was returning his brand new X Bolt ONLY becase they couldn't mount the scope on it. That guy ended up exchanging with Tikka.

No rings with them in Canada..Only a extra $80 plus for the rings...The Xbolt has a very bad mount set up and they are having nothing but problems at all the gun shops with the mounting system...This gun will keep gun smiths going for a long time..To bad. It is a nice gun for a Browning..
