Default Bulk Taxidermy/tanning supplies

I seem to have a hard time finding good quantities of fine none-iodized salt. Cheaper to buy in bulk as well. I can’t always make the taxidermy supply shops in Calgary during business hours...is there a decent supplier in Red Deer?

Silly question. How does that trace part of iodized salt affect taxidermy or tanning ? I've salted bear hides and never worried about it.

I buy my salt from feed stores and citric acid for pickling off Amazon to save on shipping.

Default salt for taxidermy

I pick up my non iodized salt from Wholes Supper Store. It's the cheapest place I can find salt for taxidermy work.

UFA sells 50Lb bags of fine salt. Or they did a few years ago.
