Went 3 days ago for about 3 hours. One good sized pike and one flag. It’s slowed down since first ice.

No. Les every year.
4 years ago every 4th fish was a burb roughly. This year I’ve seen 2 caught out of about 30-40 pike.
Burb are trendy last few years....lol
But the size are still nice. 5 lbers.

Everyone seems to pack in tight like sardines there. I think it sort of cleans those spots out. You can barely drive through some areas for huts lol.

Yeah at scenic sands usually do rochon but the warm days have been absolutely packed out there that I was worried about integrity of the ice with so many holes. Stayed away for a week or so and my holes froze right through. Only a couple burbs there going out tonight to try.

All that lake to fish and it never ceases to amaze me how people pack into the worst places and set up a village all in one tiny area, year after year. Its more of a social gathering than serious ice fishing in my opinion. There are fish in those spots for sure... but holy smokes, spread out a bit guys!
