Default I Almost got scammed, Real close.

I am usually pretty good at spotting this stuff , but not today.
I was looking on the web for primers and powder and found a Canadian site called Primers shop Canada out of Napean Ontario.
Prices were fantastic on Primers and Powder so I figured I would stock up. I emailed them asking if the web site was up to date and if they had the stock that I wanted. The reply was yes. So I registered and proceeded to shop. Filled my cart and went to check out. Only method of payment was E-Transfer and to a personal name/ e-mail. Thats what set me off. Checked up on it and sure enough SCAM!
I feel like an idiot but glad I made no payment. Now How do I get my name address and phone # off there site?, I tried erasing it, but always reverts back to original info.
I should have known, nobody has stock these days.
Damn I hate the internet!

That info is gone. Not much they can do with it alone and probably can be found elsewhere. Good on you not making the payment.

Happy you spotted that. You would have had to change your name to 'Sitting Duck!'

Lots of these sites are showing up taking advantage of the shortages any site offering free shipping on primers and powder should set off alarms its odd a place that sells doesn’t have a phone number.

Tried the online reporting, looks they only want victims to fill out a report, you have to log into your service Canada account to start then down the rabbit hole from there.
Might have better luck on the phone
toll-free line to report (1-888-495-8501).

I really hate scammers
