Paddle River Dam

Heading to Mayorthorpe for work tomorrow. Is there any fish in the "river"? how bout above dam in the lake? if so, what kind, and is shore fishing worth the stop? any advice would be great. 2 sites i found they say channel c ats and striped bass in there. thought i better ask here, as been in alberta 12 yearsand first i hear those species lol

Let me guess the site was hook and bullet, correct? Don't take that site serious all that info is false.
