Default 1.4 M acres opened up to hunting in the States

Would be nice if someone started looking at ideas like this here. Keeping hunters out of "National Parks" has never sat well with me. I can't get my head wrapped around not utilizing hunting as a tool to manage the areas.

Interesting what's going on in the States!!!!

Perfect, plenty of room everywhere else for both to coexist!

Seeing as it's the US, it'll be headed for court and it'll be years before it's decided. In the mean time, there'll be another administration to deal with.

National wildlife refuges are not national parks. Plus hunting on refuges is not new at all. I can think of lee metcalf, red rock lakes and Charles m Russell refuges in Montana that you can hunt in right now.
