I don't watch Don Cherry and I don't watch CBC TV.

Talking about either gives them legitimacy in my opinion and for sure watching them gives them support no matter what one's reason for watching is.

They can say what they want, they didn't live this old white guys life, I did.
And it wasn't easy. I carry the scars of racist bullying, I've lost job possibilities to less qualified people from minorities. That's life.
I don't complain, I move on and find better people to hang out with and better jobs where I my skills are considered, not my skin color.

I don't complain because as hard as my life has been I know it is far better then what many people from my fathers generation, my father and mother included experienced.

Besides, complaining never changed anyone's opinion.

So Don Cherry got fired and there is a double standard out there. That's sad for Don but he'll make out fine.
