Have you noticed your hair turning whiter in late fall?
I've eaten my share over the years too with no problems that I know of. I was taught young about looking at the liver and also see if the rabbit or hare was badly flea or tick bitten. I think disease is more prevalent during high population cycles.
I have a friend who got tularaemia from a live rabbit. Buddy woke up two weeks later in the states with a new liver....he’s really friggen lucky to be alive.
Anyone know if it’s legal to sell snared rabbits? Used to be my primary source of income as a kid in NS.

Im not sure, but its never been a problem in the eastern provinces I know lots of guys who sell rabbits ,years ago they would sell for 6 dollars a pair, probably be 20 now, im sure someone on here would know.

Not turning at all lol but getting long in the tooth though.

Illegal to sell wild game meat. I'm sure it is in the Alberta wildlife act somewhere. Read the act.
If you want to sell rabbit meat raise them. They reproduce fast.
