Default The Alberta bud survey have your say

So the Alberta government wants to know how you think bud should be accepted into society once legalized.

I have nothing to hide, I don't smoke but I will like a chimney once it is legall to do so.

I said,

Cartoon characters such as Homer Simpson etc should not be allowed on any paraphernalia it should be descreet or normal looking.

Marijuana should be able to be smoked where ever tabbacco is because I don't buy the contact high

The regulations with insurance companies that do drug testing for employees needs to be updated and only drugs that stay in your system for a short period of time, pretty much everything except for weed should include mandatory hair samples. Let's face it folks today's drug testing is turning everyone into crack heads. This is the real world and it is what it is.

If an employee is injured due to impairment obviously I think a six hour rule for anything should be tested for which is ample time to get the munchies for the butt heads who can't wait. The positive levels obviously need serious adjustments...

Anyways...

Here's the servey, your opinion guides Alberta's frame work.

thanks for posting the link.
I completed the survey.

Rant coming.......I'm opposed to pot being legal. Think it's a drug that takes a person's motivation away. Seriously, does anyone hope that their child grows up to be a dope smoker?

As for the black market b.s. talk. How legalizing it will somehow put a dent in organized crime......let's just sit back and see what other ways to make money they come up with. Maybe a lemon aid stand? Or you think all the gangs will just retire?

Anyone who has ever volunteered for a casino for fundraising for one of their kid's activities knows that that the province gets a good share of the drug revenue donated now, so whats the problem???????????

I'll probably get roasted on here, but I don't care. I've never met a dope smoker who I admired or wanted to be more like.

What a Joke. i wonder what else we can do to give our kids a global disadvantage????? You think the kids who will grow up to build the next space station or solve some world problem will be stoners? Not likley folks.

A real shame.

best way to make a lazy stoner contribute to society, tax him on his weed.

Did the survey, thanks for the link. I spent a lot of time in my younger years transporting drunks and stoners home from parties. I was the buzz kill designated driver. Far prefer the stoners to the drunks. If my kids asked me, I would point them to pot, rather than drink.

I completed the survey, I am for the legalization of pot for adults, I think grown ups should be able to do whatever they like as long as it isn't hurting others. If they become to lazy to leave the house than so be it.

Well if they use the word 'bud',
they will have no credibility.

I feel sorry for people in apartment buildings. I don't care if you smoke pot. But it simply stinks. It's not an odour I want to smell every night.

Thumbs down

I did all of them.

I think the entire thing is ludicrous, and stated that as many times as possible. Turning Canada Day July 1 2018 into Cannibus day forever is a huge insult to everyone that does not partake.

It asked for my opinion, I gave it.

I would thoroughly disagree that it takes peoples motivation away. I think you just don't realize how many people use it but don't advertise that they use it due to it's current/past legal status and social stigma. Some of the most motivated people I know use cannabis on a regular basis I don't think the drug has any effect on their motivation.

I see no difference between using pot and drinking a beer after work. Both are harmful in their own way. I personally don't use either but I'm not gonna tell someone else how they should live their life. Legalizing Cannabis is great step in personal freedom in Canada.

I'm mostly worried about the lack of a reliable roadside impairment test.

Don't feel sorry for them, let the gov. know how you feel. Apartment smoking is covered in the survey.

i've made up my mind that if my neighbor starts so smoke it on her deck and I have to smell it I'm getting a dead pig hanging it up by the fence, have a fan blowing the stench at her. This should cure the problem. When she does it now
I go outside and yell WHERE IS THAT F...N SKUNK. Then she disappears into her house. Claims she has a medical prescription. I think it should be legalized.I have never ever tried it! To me drinking and smoking was enough.
Might as well get the revenue ready for the next Omar pay out

I have no problem if it is being legalized, It will bring in a lot of tax money, so might as well take it from the potheads instead of me.

Default I'm from the "if it feels good, do it era"

I did the survey, smoke em if you got em as long as you're not annoying someone.
Smoking pot is not my deal, I'll be on the abstaining side. I tried a few hoots around the campfire one night, I laid in the tent trying to figure out if I was spinning or the tent was.

I've known at least dozen people that died from alcohol, zero from pot working the trades for 40 years I knew a lot of smokers.

My brother has been a 3X + daily smoker since 14...he 50 now. Has not help him one bit. But has really put a dent in his finance and mental abilities. On the plus side he is pretty mellow to get along with......until he runs out of pot and cash. And that is not the only person I know that has pretty well done nothing good with their lives once they started smoking pot on a daily basis.

I am not really against it, but I don't think its going to be a positive for society once the long term is looked at. I believe in personal freedom to choose, just don't like the idea of kids thinking its normal and expected.
