Best Stores For Hooks?

I have'nt been tying for quite a while, and am thinking of starting again to try some ideas. I'm low on hooks, and remember them being fairly expensive. Anyone know what the best places are in Calgary for decent quality/reasonably priced wet, dry, & streamer hooks. I'm thinking about 100 or 200 of each in different sizes.

I get most of my hooks/beads from canadian llama,He handles diachii. mustads are getting better [signature],tiemco exspensive.

X2 on Canadian Llama, I really like the Diachii hooks and his prices on beads cannot be beat.

Thanks for the info guys... I'll check out canadian llama although I'm not really set up for online shopping... any actual stores in calgary good for prices?

Try wholesale sports, you should find all you're looking for.

Fish tales has a good selection of both hooks and beads.

I have been buying most of mine from Togens on line. Good prices and lots of beads there as well. Only thing is he doesn't carry barbless. Rick.

You can also try Allen Fly fishing hooks. Very good prices

Really to be truthful.I only buy specific hooks locally,not offered by on-line dealers.Or if i don't want to wait for an order,on line.Togen's is good because if you keep your quantity down enough that he sends via c/post.It's got to fit in a mail slot[3/4 "].To avoid shipping fees...

There isn't enough price difference around Calgary to justify the gas and time to drive all over the city. However, the selection at various shops does differ so you will have to shop around a bit. I used to use Mustad for everything down to and including #18 but in the past few years their QC seems to have slipped so now I use them for #10 and larger but Tiemco from #12 and down for most styles, especially dry flies.
