I started hunting in 1966. In 1966 I used my dads Husqvarna in 308. Savage came out with their LH 300 mag. at least they became available in Canada in 1968 and used it till I switched to Remington. I used mostly Remington after they came out with the 7 Rem Mag LH model 700 in 1973.

Have also used Tikka, Weatherby, Browning, Winchester, NULA, Cooper, Sako, Marlin, Heym, Sauer, Blaser, Zastava, Ruger, Simson Suhl, Ithaca, Baikal and a bunch of others. I have never had a big Game rifle fail in the field. The only gun I ever owned that was failure prone was a Hungarian made over and under. It fit me beautifully but constantly needed fixing.

If I could keep only one of the Big Game guns for the rest of my life it would be the NULA.
