Default Egypt lake

Has any one ever fly fished this lake or the lakes around it?My family is doing a backing trip there in august.And has anyone ever fished pharoah creek and redearth creek. Thanks

Been in there a few times. Egypt was slow..few small fish..I prefered mummy lake or haiduk lake...beautiful area. Shadow lake was slow also..

Mummy is absolutely awesome in August (I think this is the highest lake)

I did extremely well on:
olive wooly buggers
parachute adams in grey and purple
humpies in green and red

Honestly I get the lakes in that area mixed up, but the one that is a 10 minute hike from the cabin (Egypt or Pharoah I think) can also be good, but it can also be slow.

We caught a few out of there on white muddlers right before dusk.

As I mentioned in my PM to you... Not sure what the access will be like this coming summer. Last summer the only (Alberta) access, I think was via Red Earth Creek (but that could have been closed, as well) which is about 21 km (one way) vs. 13 km via Healy Creek/Pass (plus not as scenic)... Maybe Sunshine will have things fixed up by then...
