Default Below bearspaw dam

This section of river is open now was thinking of fishing up to the dam this weekend. I haven't been up there in years. I have heard that C.P. rail built a fence along the road can you still get access to the area if I walk a bit. Thanks

if the ice shelf is still there its super risky. not a ton of fishable stuff without risking your life on a shelf thats over super deep water.

Parking lot is all fence in, i parked further back near a building and walked across the train tracks then walked up river from there. should be some open water, cannot fish within 25m of the pool by the dam and the pool below will be iced over. Good luck.
