sns2 stepping down as a moderator
Hey folks, I am stepping down today as a mod.
My 17 year old son just sent me a text telling me "I have no time for him, but all the time in the world for strangers on a website." Sometimes the truth hurts, and he is 100% right. I spend way more time on this website than I do interacting with him, my daughter or my wife. Not much more to say concerning that.
I have enjoyed getting to know many of you, both online and some of you in person.
Be nice to each other. Only say what you would to someone's face.

Thanks for your efforts. Your kids wanting to spend more time with you is an enviable position for many. Enjoy your family time. My guess is the wife will make you a big dinner Sunday. haha

Thank you for the time and dedication you put in here for us, the decision you made is an example of what has made you such a good moderator. I’ll miss your level head approach as a moderator but look forward to still hearing from you.
I’m not surprised one bit in your decision and by all means time with your son is more important than time with friends or strangers. Good luck to both of you this season buddy!

Thanks SNS2. Ones needs to moderate their time spent online, even if that time is spent moderating!
A thought for remaining mods and admin, perhaps if there were 3 or more mods added, the workload would be lightened and less demanding on each person who answers the call... There might be more takers in such an instance.
