Default Fabric shelters

Looking t get a fabric shelter. For our salt/sand pile.
We were thinking of 20x30.

Has anyone ever bought one from Uncleweiner?

Have heard nothing but complaints about the quality/warranty etc of products from Uncle Weiner. I would be cautious about buying a bigger ticket item from them.

Not sure about weiners quality but it seems like they have a few levels.

I got a TMG3070 at Richie Bros for $2,700.00 (about half price) to store boats in. Same china crap as weiners but cheaper...... May be worth a look at RB, they have had some at the last few auctions.

We will see how long it stays up for, you never know. Last winter I had an expensive "all weather shelters" one collapse while the $200 canadian tire one right beside it stayed up (steeper roof slope obviously).

I seen some at Rosehill auction in olds, it was a 20x 30 It went for $2200.00 . I googled the brand on the box , land uncle Wiener came up , so he must be selling that junk at auctions. To me it looked a bit cheesy ( Chinese junk).

I bought a 20x40 from uncle weiner about 4 years ago .They were still dealing out of Nisku . I just wanted a hay shed and wasnt really expecting much but it is still standing and is again full of dry hay . I think i paid $1700 for it . I drove fence posts in the ground to line up under each rib then cut them all off at the same elevation and capped them with a 2x6 . I also nailed another 2x6 on the outside , fastening the fence posts to the 2x6 cap . This made a level base for the shelter . So far so good .

FYI the tool bench i bought from uncle wiener has been good but a friend bought their snow blade for a skid steer and it disintegrated the first time he used it . As previous posts have mentioned , most of their stuff is not the best quality . Maybe i just got lucky with the shelter and the tool bench .

They are a surplus sales or liquidators aren't they?

Not saying that UW is such a seller but I see liquidator stuff as having been somehow problematic for the original retailers. Definitely not stuff that was too high a price for high quality as those products always sell fast once the price comes down - before the liquidators can even bid on it.

Bought a 30x60 from UW. Was missing a couple of parts and they made good on them in a timely manner. 2 years and doesn't look like it is going to fail anytime soon.
