Default Steering Spindles for Craftsman GT5000

How's it going all?

I have a Craftsman GT5000 lawnmower that I am trying to source steering spindles for. I can't find a part number on the axles themselves and google is giving me a bunch of different answers. I found what I believe are the same on Amazon but don't want to order the wrong parts as the customer in anxious to get the unit back for another cut or two this year. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Poked around on their site. I didn't see Craftsman under their brands and the different part #s I punched in didn't pull anything up. eBay seems like a place that might have some but have never bought anything off it so not sure how to find a reliable seller.

I used to buy lots off ebay until shipping costs got out of hand. Try to find a Canadian seller if possible. Check out their feedback score and feedback comments. Then trust your gut.

Always use paypal goods and services.

Will look into it thanks! It's weird, I've never really heard anything negative about eBay but it's always come off as a "sketchy" place to buy stuff to me. Guess I need a more open mind!

The reason you are getting multiple answers is because you need the Craftsman model number, not just the model.

On Craftsman riding mowers, the model number is found by flipping the seat forward. The model number is printed on the left side of the Product Identification Label, attached to the underside of the seat, and starts with the letters, "CM".

Search for the model number parts diagram.
