I have only ever eaten at The King and I. It was pretty good, this coming from a guy who doesn’t even like Thai food. Best of luck.

Ruamit Thai in Sherwood Park is my favourite. Only had lunch there. Curry rice bowls were very good. Nothing fancy. Ensure you get the coconut rice.

Syphay restaurant downtown is amazing. I’ve been on two trips to Thailand/ Laos before and this is the one I find comes closest to the flavours you get over there

Ok so here’s a little corner of deliciousness that you might never hear about:
Thai Valley Grill in Whitemud Crossing. Amazing coconut soup and the best pad Thai I’ve ever had. Very little restaurant with intimate setting. Perfect spot for a date

I went to a small place on the corner of Roper and 75th street called “The Loft”. Really good place, but a small dining area and not fancy.

As original as it gets. Husband and wife team. She cooks and he runs the front.
The food here is every bit as good as it is in Thailand.

Tropika is decent, but The Loft felt fresher and more authentic to me.

Boualouang. Not sure right now but it used to be the highest rated Thai restaurant in the city, I found it after getting back from 2 months in Thailand and the food has been great every time I have gone. Food is real Thai food very well prepared (on par if not better than many Thailand restaurants), reminds me of my time in Thailand each time I go.
