Default Sort of wish Alberta towns had this problem more.

A Wisconsin town is giving out bow hunting tags for nuisance deer. According to the article bow hunters in Delafield can get unlimited amount of tags. I'm guessing until the town reaches a quota.

Hunters only have to be one hundred yards from a building and they can hunt within town limits.

Agreed but I would think getting 100 yards away from a building may be difficult in most urban centres

They trust people running around with bows far more than I would. From what I have seen of the modern hunter there is no way in hell I would want them running around my property with a bow.

I've never hunted urban myself but I don't have a problem with those that
do.

After seeing fishing tournament shows on TV of the modern Bass masters
events where the best of the best skidder 10" bass across the top of the
water as they can to get the numbers up for money...
Well, all I can say is I BOO YAY to those he mans
A holes.

Those jerks yank the fish out of the water so fast and hard it cant
even begin to fight, the rods they use are so stiff they cant even feel
a fight, ... so it's all for money and count nothing for sport or ethics.

Let me stop right here.

Years ago the biggest best Large mouth bass ever caught was recorded in Georgia
22.4 lbs. ozs. 1964 ? correct me if Im wrong.

State/Country record verified by witnesses.

The above record was set by not harpooning and catapulting the fish to the
boat it was caught and faught with hook and line and fishing line until netted
along side the boat.

That's the way the old folk fished, that's the way some of us old bow hunters
hunt. One fish at a time.

Wisconsin may also have a good reason to cull urban deer to
slow the infection or spread of cwd.

As they see fit. Just guessing

The problem is still alive and well with problem deer. But no special licenses other than past quota hunts and future ones. Positive is that fawn # are way down in town.
