Bow... i finally upgraded to a new bowtech this year, and coupled with a grim reaper broadhead, made short work of that moose. I honestly don’t think I’ve ever had a quicker death. Couldn’t have been more than 5-6 seconds after the arrow hit that he was down.
(And the bow is in the picture too)

That is an amazing deer especially for a first archery kill. Just curious had you spotted him on a camera on just come across him.

I followed up my Wednesday moose with this guy yesterday morning. Our group has been after him for a couple of weeks, and with two misses and two other messed up stalks, it’s great to have him down. Definitely bigger bucks out there, but with the double drop tines, he’s definitely a shooter in my books!

Thanks everyone!! It was for sure a memorable day
Nope didn't have this guy on camera or anything, the hunt was a spot and stalk on public land. Took the 20 yard shot while he was feeding through the trees.
Got a whole new level of respect for these amazing animals

Connected with this little guy last night. This is my second moose with the bow. It is a 4 year wait for a draw in my zone so it will be nice to refill the freezer again.

Great lookin bull Clarky, congrats!

I’m surprised at how much he’s brooded off those top points already, must have been a big aggressive animal.

Thanks Everyone, yes Kurt, he came in with a purpose, I was cow calling, once he hung up I threw out 2 weak bull grunts and he quickly changed his hesitation to aggression. I stayed quiet after that and he just kept coming hard. The rest was history.

Shot Saturday morning. Got into my stand at first light. Gave a few bull grunts and he came in. He only went about forty yards after the shot.

Anyone slam a nice WT buck yet this archery season?

Attached is my target guy, but I can't seem to connect. When I zig, he zags. Hoping to connect, but losing faith. Getting to be too much time in the stands.

Congratz everyone on some awesome animals! I was thrilled to fill my freezer and first archery tag on this doe. Stalked into 27 yards on a group of four does and two fans, waited for this one to step broadside and let loose. Shot was a little far back but found her less than 100 yards away.

Default Long bomb buck

It’s been a crazy fall with all the crappy weather and crops still on the fields messing with game movement, I let a buddy sit in my stand one night and he arrows one of the target bucks the week before I was able to finally from the same stand drop the string and “send it”.

Took this Buck with an almost 70 yard shot and he didn’t make it 60 yards to where I found him piled up on a tree he ran into. Not my biggest buck with a bow but with the year I’ve had so far, I’m very grateful to be able to take him with archery gear and my first kill with my new Darton Spectra E.

Congrats to all. Great pics. Great stories. Keep 'em coming! I filled my antlerless whitetail tag, but didn't take any pics.
