I used old bed frame angle iron and re-bar to make the stand for and plan on putting it in the basement / rec room / bar next to the pool table.
I was gonna buy a fooseball table but this is a lot more fun.
The wife and I played with it in the garage for hours last night.
Since I posted it on face book I've had several friends ask me to weld one up for them. I told them all they have to do is give me the measurements of the game and supply the angle iron (I've got a lot of re-bar). Tell me what color they want it or supply the paint and bam! I can knock it out in a day.

Around 1985, a person from Prince Albert SK. built some table top hockey games. The games were made of wood, resembled the ones everyone had as a kid, but were of superb quality, had a bubble dome and a coin operation. They weren't the ones with the big sized sticks that were in the bars and gaming rooms in later years. If someone could replicate those table top games they would be rich.
