I think she got canned from CNN not for what she did, but for apologizing for what she did. Seeing all of these sore losers frothing at the mouth screaming about the illegitimate president remind me of all of the sore losers who screamed and hollered about how Harper stole the election with robocalls when the liberals took third place.

Bottom Line you can file a law suit for anything in the USA, whether or not it gets thrown out of court depends how solid your lawyer is and who you get for a Judge.
Case in point, Trumps ban was dismissed by liberal Judges, it wont be with the Supreme Court, in fact I predict that his order will stand after it is heard at the SC and the decisions made by the lower courts will be overruled and dismiss as the crappy/political decisions the Judges made were.

Just Saw Kathy Griffin on the news crying about how Trump and his family are trying to destroy her career since so many venues are cancelling her gigs and unlike her apology she seemed pretty sincere about it.
I think she did a pretty good job destroying her career with her last stunt, no sympathy here

Oh the fake outrage, Mr Trump surely is the most unfairly treated politician of all times, never mind that he defended Nugent's rants about Obama and Clinton, excusing death threats as a figure of speech. The only thing she's 'guilty' of is not realizing that as an entertainer in the public eye, making fun of people (some of them, like Trump with a lot of public sway, good or bad) she either lives or dies by her comedy (personally I use that term lightly in her case).
In this instance she has learned that her public, that has fawned over her in the past has instantly turned on her.
But she has broken no law. As someone mentioned, Madonna actually commented that we should burn down the White House...nothing to sue or charge her with.

Hopefully they will arrest her for supposed links to ISIS and send her directly to Guantanamo Bay equivalent and use water boarding or better technique to find out which terrorist group she belongs to and who her Co Conspirators are.
They need to set an example that's clear and equivalent to what they did for the Canadian guy who was tortured down there.
