Default AB draw question, out of province hunter

I retired 2 years ago from AB, and moved to BC.
Still have a WIN number.

I am in the draw this year here in BC.
And am not wanting to break any rules.

My AB hunting friend says I can go in on a cow elk draw with him.

How does this work?

Nope, as a non-resident Canadian, antlerless animals are off the list for you.

So I was mixed up.

Since our zone is "general bull elk" perhaps what my partner intended was I get a "non-resident Canadian general bull elk" tag.

If such a thing exists?
