trapping

just wondering how the trapping is going. i am going to put out my coyote line on sat. hey got a question for you experianced coyote trappers. how long can you use foothold traps before the snow is to deep/frozen etc. i only use snares but i want to try some footholds at a bait station. heres a tip for snaring boil your snares for 1 hour in baking soda it takes the shine right off but it doesnt corrode them.
