Default Just a little Bull!!

I got this little guy Saturday in 400,he and his small friend just ran right out in front of me at about 150 yards.He ain't no trophy but he will be good eating!

He's not THAT little. A lot of guys who have yet to shoot an elk would put that guy on the wall.

P.S. When I say "a lot of guys" I mean me.

There is nothing wrong with that animal.

I have come to the conclusion over the years that if I am able to tag a trophy thats fine and dandy,.. but now when I go out to shoot something its to put meat in my freezer. If an average or lower animal comes along,.. I don't pass them up cause I may have missed my chance.

Hagar, correct me if I'm wrong but you look kind of familiar. Did you shoot a big bull in the past (around 370ish) that was posted on the LRH site a few years ago?

slopeshunter,you are correct,it was to bad some stole his rack.For those how have not seen it here is a pic.It was my first elk,an 8x8,that I got on my father-in-laws about 7 years ago.

Thanks guys,it is a great felling to know the freezer is going to be full this year.

Tuc,sorry but I have never hunted in 402,mainly in 300,302,400,and 110.

I know if I see one like that in range this weekend; I'm going to be ****ed that I don't have a tag. Oh hell I guess I should open up the wallet for another tag....and freezer
