Default Weasel poop....

.....in my camper. I can’t see any “nest” or any damage. There were paper towels and sponges in the cupboards, but none of it were touched or chewed on. Also, no food was left in there. Should I dig deeper? I have never heard of weasels in a camper. I always tear open packets of rat/ mouse poison and count the amount of pellets in each cup. There is one cup completely empty. Not sure if the weasel or the mice ate it. But I cannot see any obvious damage anywhere. Will it still be in the camper? Or do they make “homes” somewhere else?

I thought this was going to be another Trudeau thread. Nice that it pooped in a bowl.
My guess is it would move on once you started to use the camper again.

I highly doubt a weasel would eat a mouse bait pellet. weasels are carnivores.
If the poisoned mice died before the weasel found them then the weasel is probably still alive. A weasel wouldn't eat an already dead mouse. If the weasel caught a live poisoned mouse and ate it, the weasel may have died too.

I'd sooner clean up a few weasel turds than a thousand mouse droppings. A weasel has a hunting territory and circuit it follows. A weasel usually takes 7 to 10 days to make it's circuit. so odds could be the weasel moved on but could well be back.

Should lacquer a pair of the weasel droppings and make some social distancing earrings for your wife or girlfriend.

One weasel and that much poop means a lot of mice. You have bigger problems. Dealing with mice in my jeep right now, think i'm up to 9 and counting, surprising there is no food , couple of droppings my first clue, obviously there is an access point somewhere. Mouse bait just encourages the problem, they have to eat a pound of that crap to expire.

I had to leave traps to control mice from coming into the trapping cabin. Since "Willie" the weasel moved under my cabin couple years ago have not seen single mouse. Best mouse trap ever!

That’s what I am thinking. But no mouse droppings. Nothing chewed and no nests. No body parts of eaten mice (unless the weasel eats the whole mouse). But yeah, that’s a lot of weasel poop.

Antifreeze in a shallow bowl with another larger bowl on top with holes only big enough for the mice to enter drink the antifreeze.... Mice will be gone soon enough. Make sure pets or kids can't get to the antifreeze.

Tin Cat, just as efficient and no danger to anything else.
