With respect to the whole social distancing thing, if they allow dentists to operate, haircuts, in restaurant eating, beauty shops et all, you sure aren't getting any social distancing there. For those at risk, don't engage in ANY of those types of activity if you can avoid it and take all possible precautions. For everyone else, we can't leave the world locked down and stuck in their homes forever. There is going to be higher levels of infections, more people going to hospital, and yes more people will die from it. No matter what Trudeau says, we can't keep paying people to sit home on their butts to avoid this virus. I wish this wasn't true but until a vaccine shows up, if it does, 1 or 2 years down the road, I don't see a viable alternative.
Sorry to burst your bubble but N95's have never been used in hospitals for anything other than protecting those providing care in infectious situations.
Almost all masks used, including in OR's, are just simple, basic masks.

Covid or no Covid that’s why I like tenting the back country. That sounds exactly like the places I have been purposely and gladly avoiding for the last twenty years...

If Covid is not an infectious disease what is it? Any healthcare professional or first responder dealing with Covid are wearing N95, if they can get them. Many are refusing work if they aren't available.

I think many will be very surprised at the huge number of people collecting these payments that have no need of it what so ever. In addition to all those doing bogus claims there are people like me. I qualify, as does my wife, under the asinine rules and there is no way in hell that we should, nor would I ever put in a claim just because the government is that stupid.

Default National Post article on Canada's declining numbers

This is a good read. The one part of handling Cv19 that is not mentioned is the medical learning curve. Treatments now start earlier which is translating into quicker recoveries for many cases.

I can’t be around that many people in good times. Nor can I pack a gun on the beach. I’m out. Laughing!

100% spot on.

Almost every qualified and credible person on the planet says masks will dramatically reduce the chances of transmission.

Agreed ....

Would hope the elected Town grown-ups put some restrictions back on visitors .... they need to limit the amount of people on the beach similar to Costco or Walmart & or put up the beach closed sign again.

Yup that seems to be the train of thought. The one thing Covid has done is made me hate people more then I did before the outbreak. I did not like strangers within 2 meters before Covid became a thing

My favorite was the guy who rushed up towards me well I was looking at stuff in the fishing section and demanded i move because he needed social distancing. yes people are that special out there

To those who think I am putting people at risk well I naturally don’t like strangers within 10ft so don’t worry

Here's "the experts" finding on mask usage vs 2009 H1N1 virus.
Funny how "the experts" have now changed their tune saying we all need to wear them.

Covid is mainly distributed at night. Direct sunlight destroys it almost instantly. Far worse options than beaches.

If sunlight destroyed covid almost instantly there would be no virus in California, Arizona, Texas and Florida.

Yes because those states don’t have building structures.
