Default Propane Valve. Recert RedDeer

Well long story, after a few hailed out trailers, I have some expired bottles.

2 x 30lb tanks
2x 20 lb tanks

What is the best option

Recert??
One guy was tellin me 50 bone for recert, before fill!!??
I could see the 20lbs,
I love the 30's too, like all are one year expired....

What have you done, or do??
Reddeer area..

Hayseed,

The problem with a recert is that it has to be less than the new price at Costco. That rules out the 20 pd bottles, as in Edmonton, Mutual Propane does a recert and fill with valve for $31.50.

For not much more you have a new 20 at Costco.

I did a 10 pd and a 5 pd since January for ice fishing. These are very expensive tanks to replace, and justify the money.

As for the 30 pd, yes it is a saving, but Costco has all these recert outfits on the ropes with their prices.

Sounds like a reasonable price.

Low cost propane next to Deeremart just off of 67th. About 30 bucks to recert most sizes

Trade them in at a Tank Trader. Just make sure the new one has a few years left on it.
