Default Dalemead Lake

Anyone been there recently? Is the ice still safe?

Drove by 5 days ago and there was about 5 ice tents near one of the access points. Doesn’t necessarily mean it’s completely safe but just letting you know there was people fishing it.

Season closed on the 15th. opens again on May 8

Only thing other than trout lakes that are still open is north and they all close on Mar. 30

Dalmead is unlisted, falls under general regs

You are correct, this comes up every year.......... fish away, just don't go for a swim!

hmm might want to check your regs. lots of lakes open all season in the south. the ice however, I doubt its all that great now

I was checking the sat. maps last year to find out when open water might start. Dalmead showed signs of breakup on April 3 wide open by the 11th. Be careful
