I'm guessing he is looking for a portable sonar unit, or "graph". I have to be honest that my first glance had me thinking it was a "gaff"...

I bought a Garmin striker 4 portable unit to take to the NWT last summer. Great little unit, and has GPS to map your tracks around the lake. Comes with a soft carry case, battery, suction cup on transducer

I use a helix 5. Swap it between ice fishing (ice ducer) and my 14ft tinner (suction cup ducer).
