Wished I could have known ya, Ken. By reading the posts you were one heck of a fellow. Your fight to stay with us has given me perspective on my minor infliction...worst out come, a colostomy for the rest of my life.
I hope you were in Heaven hours before the devil knew you were gone...God Speed Ken!
Our sympathy to your wife and daughter,
LeRoy and Marilyn Archer

My condolences to family and friends. Like many here, I never met Ken personally but marvelled at his courage and determination. We can't possibly know what he went through. Now he rests in peace! Godspeed, Ken, and thanks for sharing a bit of your life with us.

Am so sorry to hear about Ken, always admired his attitude going through his illness. To his family, my condolences and keep all the memories of him close to your heart.
Don't stand by my grave and weep,
For I am not there.
I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow,
I am the diamond's glint in the snow,
I am the sunlight on ripened grain,
I am the gentle autumn's rain.
In the soft blush of the morning light
I am the swift bird in flight.
Don't stand by my grave and cry,
I am not there,
I did not die.

the best of examples
If I can face the reaper with even half the courage that Ken did then I will consider myself a brave man.
I knew Ken only through our posts. But I truly believe he has made a difference in the way I will face my final days when they come. Face forward, chin up, no excuses, no handouts. An inspiration and lesson to us all.
Thanks Ken.

Condolences to the Family and Friends of Ken Taylor
I had never met Ken...
As I have not met Ken, I have not met many who vist this forum. I would be as a stranger to his family and friends.
I will remember Ken not by sight, but by his words of determination to fight the enemy within him and survive to live a life of love for his family and pursue his passion for the outdoors.
In times such as this it is difficult to find comfort in words. Let it be said; "Those who live in the hearts of others never die..."
Jesus said: "Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted."
Comfort is on it's way...
