Default Archery Antelope

I was successful in getting my draw this year and plan to stalk and user a decoy. I also plan to throw in my blind and sit if need be. What's everyone's preferred method for archery? Also what do most of you wear on your hands assuming there will be lots of crawling happening?

I had an archery tag last year. It was one of the funnest hunts I've ever done. Decoying is a blast but can get frustrating after a bit. Mind you, I was trying to film and decoy and shoot all by myself. With out the filming it might have been a different story. I ended up getting a nice one just by stalking. But if I had to do it all over again I would spend about a week prior to the season scouting and find a good water hole, set up a blind and wait it out. Not as exciting as the other methods but definitely will work.

Bring a horse if the landowners will let you. Antelope can’t count legs while you’re stalking 👍

Get some sports kneepads and sew on a leather cover, and leather gloves.

Or enjoy a nightly session with a needle digging out needles.

Tie a white flag on a stick and they will come. I’ve had it work where you just ride a horse right up to them.

With antalope most time or say half the time you can say Curiosity killed the antalope. Very very good eye sight so like mentioned a white grocery bag a small tee shirt flag or even a orange coat on a fence postclose to a watering hole worked well for me. Idk the name of the call but when i tried it years ago it was a folded piece if plastic with an elastic band in it that you could buy work a bit for me.
