Thanks.
Are they the bigger calibers? My old man has a 243 BLR and he really likes it. Just Wondering if the 7mm would jam much or if they are as trouble free as the 243?

Default same advice

I have been looking at the same gun?
are they as accurate as a bolt action?
wish they came in stainless steel barrel?

They come in a laminate stainless, but they are hard to find. Bashaw has one but it is a takedown model in a 270.

Default I pistol grip in 308

I love it. Actually got my first deer (With this Gun) last Sunday.

I called it a medium sized 8 point but I might be biased.

I have never had a single problem. Never a feeding issue and I have put a few boxes through the gun at the range.

The gun is as accurate as I can be with it.

For me they are the best looking gun on the market. Again that's for me, not looking to start a debate. I have a friend that has one in 7mm and he hasn't mentioned any issues with it.

Thumbs up

Yup...

I've been impressed enough with my .325 WSM BLR (PG) that the other day I went down finally and bought a .243 nearly identical. The .325 is wood/blued, the .243 is wood (not laminate) with stainless barrel.

No feeding issues noted yet at all, actually no issues with pretty much anything .. EXCEPT... if you don't like a firm trigger pull. It's just something to get used to if you've been shooting light triggers, not a real issue to me.

Another minor issue with the .325... I can't find a light bullet/bullet recipe that it likes. Had to buy the second rifle for deer. 200s are ok, 220s seem best for my .325. But it seems to hate 180s. Maybe I just haven't found a 180 of a flavor it likes.

I agree with Doodle30.. to me they're a classy looking rifle Maybe ESPECIALLY the Stainless version!

I had one in a 7mm Rem Mag and it worked and shot fine.

I would only get it in the Pistol Grip style though. The straight grip has too much drop in the stock. The recoil and muzzle jump would be unpleasant.
