Default Browning A-Bolt II action screw torque

Does anyone have this information handy? Owners manual does not, and have not been able to find anything online other than "snug".

Action is still in the stock, so if all else fails I will just mark the screws and see where that ends up within the realm of ~35-50 in/lbs.

What stock material?wood/ synthetic? Bedded? Pillars? Generally torque specs are within a standard range. Once you have the range you should be in, fine tweaking might be needed for optimum accuracy. Record your final settings.
I use these specs as a general rule
Synthetic or wood = 20-35lb
Bedded= 30-45
Pillar =50-65

Its a wood stock rifle, so I'll stick to your rule of thumb and see how it works out.

Thanks for the tip.

I have not found the A bolt 1 or 2 to be picky about the stock torque, as long as they are snug.

I have had a couple other brands that are very picky with sequence of torque and consistent torque.
