Default Remington 887?

Looking into buying a Remington 887? This is the new pump model Remington has had out for a little while now that can shoot shells from 2.75inch-3.5inch. Would like to hear some opinions (pro/cons) from anyone that owns one or has used the 887? Thanks.

buddy has one, it shoots great the only thing is when you hit the action release the fore end comes to far back and can hit your finger if you don't move it.

I seriously looked at buying on this past summer.
After inspection of them I wasnt very impressed. After owning several 870 Wingmasters I was really turned away by the 887. I ended up buying a 11-87 XCS Waterfowl.
The 887 maybe a ok gun for the entry level person, but anyone who has had any higher grade Remingtons will be disapointed with it.
