Default Ruger M-77 tang safety 300 wsm

Finally finished a project I have been puttering away at . Converted a Ruger m-77. 243 win to 300 WSM using a Shilen # 4 contour 1-10 twist . It’s an accurate outfit . Don’t be afraid to use Shilen barrels if one comes across one

Now how does a thread like this get started without any pics?
Hmmm???

Classic action with a bit of a cult following. Many memories of the old 22-250 blasting coyotes.

Sorry don’t know how to post pictures .
Going to have to imagine a old Ruger M-77 243 that has been used hard . Stock finish flaked off in places , checkering worn, some rust and a bulged barrel.
Stock gets refinished with a low luster oil hand rubbed finish , all checkering recut so diamonds pointed again. The bolt gets trued as well as the face opened for the larger 300 wsm cartridge . A Shilen #4 contour is chamber , fitted to receiver ,and fitted to stock. All the metal is bead blasted and reblued as well as bedded to the stock. The magazine and feed ramp / rails are tweaked to feed the larger cartridge .

If you need a picture I can send you some just pm where to Thx
