Default If you had only one bullet choice for big game?

So based on your experience, and given that the bullet should be effective for a one shot kill at appropriate range and remaining energy. Which bullet would you choose.

My choice Nosler Partition.

It depends on the cartridge, for a cartridge potentially providing over 3000fps impact velocities, the TTSX, for impact velocities under 3000fps the Accubond.

I've had very good results with the Nosler partition, and with the Barnes TSX. Either of those.

The most accurate one! Nothing else matters if you don't hit your spot.

Bullet placement is first, but a 165 gn Hornady SST for my .308 works all the time for me..

Hornady BTSP or any multitude of regular old and reliable cup and core bullets.

Nosler parts fit in that description as well but cost twice as much...IMHO its more how you hunt than what you hunt with....

Been an Accubond/Partition fan for many years, but now loving Barnes TTSX and LRX cuz they are so easy to get good groups with very little fussing with powders, charge weights or seating depths. In my four 7 mm's and 30 cal it's been this: pick a load from the manual and easy sub 3/4" groups.

Partition’s get my attention here, provided they shoot in the given rifle, which for the most part it seems with a minor amount of tinkering they will in most rifles I’ve ever owned.

My hunting rifles I use nosler partitions, if they don’t group well then I’ll use accubonds. Only had that happen so far in my 7-08 and 300 saum, they’re both a great billet.

OMG... Just 1? ... anyways would have to be the NP or the poor mans NP which is the Interlock...all things said ... I am finding a 1st time love affair with the ttsx and the lrx ... as per accubombs I have not worked with them to date but have a box of 142gr to experiment with in my 6.5 x 55 (any suggestions)

Strictly talking Big Game hunting, if I had to stick to only one it would be the Hornady Interlock. As it is, the only two bullets I use regularly hunting are Hornady and Barnes. Tried many others over the years, always went back to one of those two depending on rifle and Cartridge.
