Default consider reloading

The .284 is tough to find loaded. Brass can be reshaped from a couple wildcats 6.5x284 etc. Did you keep your fired brass? what type of firearm are you shooting? Harold

Default loads

Either win 760 or H-414 and a Fed mag primer with 140gr bullets shot real nice in a friend's Savage 99C ....performance can be limited to magazine length and OAL of the round.....Harold

H4350 is by far the best propellant I've ever ran in a .284Win. Cleaner and far less temperature sensitivity than 760/414.

Time to think about reloading OP.

Never had an issue with temp sensitivity with Win 760 .In the 99C it cut under1/2" groups in ,284 I use it exclusively in my .250 700 Classic and a BRNO 21 7x57 in all AB weather....never chronied in -40 but he game all died.Harold

I have not had any issues with 760 as well. Always can find something better if you look long enough.
