Default 1727f 17hmr

Is there a lightweight stock available for the 1727F? I would like to lose a little weight on mine if possible.

Not really. The stock off a 1827 Biathlon, or a 54.18 MSR will interchange with your 1727F stock, but most of them are not what you would call lightweight. The stock off of the model 54 sporters will not interchange. Other point is, to shed significant weight you would need to go with the Sprint (light weight version) of the gun, which is hopefully what you have. The Heavy barrelled version, like my 22RF won't lighten up much just by changing the stock.

The one real good option you have would be to get a light weight Walnut stock inlet by someone good with a duplicator. Talk to Girtdun here on AO.I have not personally seen one of his stocks but I have seen pictures of a bunch of work he has done and it looks top notch. The reviews on AO of his work are also top shelf.

I have had stocks duplicated By Alberta Gun stock in New Norway and they do excellent work as well You can also check this link out. I have posted every Anschutz stock maker we could find in it as well as interchage info.
